Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid and do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go!
— Joshua 1:9
Ages 4-7
At this stage of development, we focus on creating opportunities for children to realize that they are brave and strong, and they can do hard things. We also prioritize establishing trustworthy adult relationships to walk alongside the children guiding them with unconditional love and support. We introduce children to the idea that they are a part of a story that God is writing, and that they have been given special gifts by Him. They also begin to learn what it means to consider other people’s needs before their own, as well as how to be a true friend.
